HERBAL PAIN MANAGEMENT
Please be careful not to use machinery or equipment while using these herbs until you know how they will affect you. If they seem too potent, back off… if they don’t seem strong enough, take another dropperful or take it more often. They might make you a little drowsy. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
CALIFORNIA POPPY (whole plant) – Eschscholzia californica. This plant is known for its analgesic, anti-inflammatory and sedative properties. It is also useful for neuropathy, neuralgia and other nervous or spasmodic conditions, including restless legs. The tincture is mildly sedating, but safe enough for children, and although it is a poppy, it contains no opium.

CORYDALIS – Corydalis yanhusuo. This plant is in the poppy family but does not block pain receptors like opiates. Corydalis has been shown to positively affect the nervous system. It has great value for pain relief from fibromyalgia and other nerve-related pain, and also promotes relaxation provided by the pain relieving properties.

INCARVILLEA – Incarvillea sinensis. Also known as Hardy Gloxinia. “Incarvillea sinensis is a little-known Chinese herb that has great potential as a pain herb. Incarvillea sinensis acts on the same receptors as many of the best-known pain medications, and it seems like a logical substitute, or even a potentiator, of similar herbs like corydalis, California poppy, prickly poppy and kava. It has been traditionally used to treat rheumatism, inflammation and cramping. Given this potential, it is quite surprising that Incarvillea is not more popular. Incarvillea may also be beneficial as a relaxing herb in instances of insomnia, restlessness and anxiety.” from World Seed Supply website.
